Vizilite Plus Helps Early Detection
Oral cancer is one of the most curable diseases when it's caught early. That's why your dentist performs an annual ViziLite Plus exam, in combination with a conventional visual examination. ViziLite Plus uses technology that has been proven successful in identifying other types of precancerous and cancerous abnormalities. It's particularly important for patients at increased risk for oral cancer.
When premalignancies or early-stage oral cancer is found, treatment is simpler, less invasive and more than 90% successful. ViziLite Plus helps your dentist identify oral lesions sooner.

A ViziLIte Plus annual exam is performed immediately following a regular visual examination and is quick and painless:
Step 1: First, you rinse with a cleansing solution.
Step 2: Then, your dental professional will examine your mouth using ViziLite, a specially designed light technology.
Step 3: If a suspicious lesion is detected, it will be marked with a blue dye ( TBlue630) and documented.
Oral lesion identification marking system
The newest tool in the fight against oral disease is the ViziLite® Plus oral lesion identification and marking system.
ViziLite® Plus, from Zila Pharmaceuticals, combines the oral screening technology of ViziLite, an advanced chemiluminescent light technology to help detect oral abnormalities, with TBlue630T. TBlue630 is the only patented pharmaceutical-grade form of toluidine blue that has been cleared by the FDA for use in marking lesions identified during a ViziLite examination.
ViziLite Plus makes oral screening more comprehensive than ever before and is indicated for use in individuals at increased risk of oral cancer. If ViziLite reveals an abnormality, TBlue630 can be used to mark suspicious lesions for further evaluation.
